Trevor Hutchings, Chief Executive of the Renewable Energy Association (REA) brings a wealth of policy, industry and commercial experience across the clean energy transition and circular economy. Trevor's previous roles include the UK civil service, European Commission and international consultancy firms. He was also chair of the Green Purposes Company set up by the UK government to safeguard the green mission of the world’s first Green Investment Bank.

He is a Fellow at the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals, a Fellow at the Energy Institute, and holds the IoD’s certificate in corporate governance. Under Trevor’s leadership, the Renewable Energy Association is a leading voice for clean energy and the circular economy, helping grow this vital sector of the UK economy.
